Fauna & Flora International (FFI) is a leading international conservation organisation, working in more than 40 countries mainly in the developing world to save species from extinction and habitats from destruction, whilst improving the livelihoods of local people. Founded in 1903, FFI is the world’s longest established international conservation body. Across the globe, ecosystems are being degraded or destroyed and species are being pushed to the brink of extinction. In the past 150 years, 80% of the forests that originally covered the Earth have been cleared, fragmented, or degraded. Half of these forests have been completely lost forever. However there is still hope, and much of our beautiful planet remains to be conserved. Fauna & Flora selected PS Financials for the supply of their new accounting system. The key elements to the decision to implement PS Financials was their proven success in the international charity sector where sophisticated multi currency was a fundamental requirement to the controlling the local currencies, whilst maintaining these transactions in the funders and head office currencies. |
